Picnic Baskets for 2 or 4
We offer a picnic basket service, prepared for lunch on the beach, at the pool, or in the jungle - wherever your adventure takes you. Please see the menu below for ideas and prices. We entertain requests too.

Food Shopping
With advance notice, we can stock your kitchen prior to your arrival. A 10% gratuity is added to the cost of food and drink.

Breakfast
Your hosts are fine cooks and would be delighted with the opportunity to prepare you a lovely breakfast. Options include traditional Costa Rican fare as well as other dishes suitable for a range of tastes. We can prepare a bespoke platter of sumptuous appetizers to enjoy poolside at cocktail hour. Please get in touch for prices and ideas.

Most local supermarkets and restaurants offer delivery for a small $5-6 fee. Please ask for details.

Tico Breakfast - gallo pinto, eggs any style, homemade tortilla, choice of bacon, sausage or grilled cheese
Empanadas - choice of cheese, bean, chicken or veggie. Comes with greens, fried plantains and dipping sauces.
Omelette Bar - we cook your omelettes as you like after you select your own fillings laid out on the counter.
Huevos Rancheros - a classic Mexican breakfast of eggs over tomato salsa and tortillas with avocados, beans and sour cream. Served with greens or potatoes.
Roasted Potato, Tomato and Chorizo Hash with an egg on top and toast on the side.
Smashed Avocado Toast with Egg - comes with greens or potatoes
Individual Frittatas - select your own fillings. 3 to a plate accompanied by greens or potatoes.
Fresh Fruit, Granola, Yogurt
Breakfast Burrito - soft scrambled eggs, feta cheese, tomatoes, avocados, black beans rolled in a flour tortilla
Pancakes, French Toast or Oatmeal

Italian basket - Caprese salad skewers, Pressed Italian sandwiches (chibatta, provolone, salami, ham, olives, fresh tomato, fresh basil and arugula), Watermelon salad and Almond cookies
Asian Treat basket - Baked sushi cups, Cucumber salad with roasted peanuts and chile, fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce, Fruit salad
Greek basket - Greek salad (tomato, cucumber, green pepper, feta, dill), tzatiki, pita bread, black olives, Roasted chicken, Flourless Chocolate cupcakes with sliced mango.
Costa Rican basket - Empanadas (bean, chicken, or cheese), Coleslaw with Green Goddess Dressing, Corn Salad, Arroz con leche.
Charcuterie basket - Selection of fine cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, dried fruit, crackers and Olive Tapenade, Baguette, Strawberry Salad with Balsamic dressing, Lemon bars
Vegan basket - Pita Pockets with roasted veggies and hummus or Romesco Cauliflower Sandwiches, Cherry Tomato Couscous Salad, Chocolate oat drop cookies
